Program Description

Event Details

Join us for a cozy and practical sewing class at the library where you’ll learn valuable skills for repairing and altering your clothing! In this hands-on workshop, we'll cover basic sewing techniques like mending, adding buttons, hemming pants, and even altering waistbands to ensure your clothes fit just right. To participate, simply bring one or two items of clothing in need of repair—whether it’s a favorite shirt with a missing button or a pair of pants that need hemming.

In addition to learning these useful skills, enjoy a relaxing atmosphere with tea, coffee, and light snacks provided throughout the session. This class is for ages 12 and up, so it’s the perfect opportunity to gather with friends or meet new ones while improving your sewing abilities.

Spaces are limited, so bring your projects, your curiosity, and a love for sewing to the library! Reserve you spot today!
