Program Description

Event Details

Welcome to another Teen Greenhouse Group Program!

Join other teens (Ages 13-18) as we explore information about Milkweed, the pollinators who depend on it, and you'll take some plants home to grow yourself!

We will plan to meet at the Mason County Public Library Greenhouse (in the parking lot), as long as weather permits.

Join us as we plant some local milkweed varieties that you will monitor and take home for transplanting. Contribute to accessible food for local pollinators.

Did you know milkweed feeds animals other than Monarch Butterflies?

Bees, beetles, hummingbirds, and bats are all pollinators of Milkweed as well!
