Event Details

Join us at the Pavilion for hands-on learning with the Arboretum On Wheels! Explore the wonders of nature through interactive activities and engaging lessons designed to connect students with the environment. Below are the exciting topics we’ll cover:

  • Interactions With Our Ecosystem
Understand the components of the food chain, including ecosystems, biotic factors, producers, herbivores, and decomposers. Kids will explore real forest items and participate in a food web activity to see how all parts of an ecosystem are connected.

  • All About Insects
Get up-close with insects in your backyard, learning about pollinators, beneficial species, and invasive pests. Students will see slugs, beetles, and butterflies up close, fostering an appreciation for these creatures.

These programs provide a fun, interactive way for everyone to explore the natural world and learn about the vital role trees, insects, and ecosystems play in our environment.
